BAcc. , CA
Managing Director

Ken is a business consultant, sax player and author. He directly manages a number of the bands within the Divamusic.biz stable including top soul outfit Counselled Out which he founded in 1990.

Ken has played at the Newport Festival in Rhode Island, USA and London's Albert Hall, guested on a Radio 2 session on the Paul Jones blues show and appeared (for 3 seconds!) on a TV show on song-writing featuring comedian Fred McAuley and pop writer John McLaughlan.
He has significant experience of gig promotions and was the founder of the G1 Soul Association, bringing international soul and R'n'B artistes to Scotland. Ken has also gained experience in diverse areas of live production - including stage management, tour scheduling, presenting and event production.

His two proudest showbiz moments were a guest appearance with Gallacher & Lyle at their reunion gig in 1998 and being ejected (by the great man himself!) from Ronnie Scott's world famous Soho jazz club in 1983 for drinking cans of 'heavy' not purchased from the bar.

Ken personally developed the company's 'new music' division which was only established towards the end of 2006. This resulted in the creation of a Divamusic.biz independent record label for the company's own emerging artists with new CD and download releases in June 2007 for the tracks and the production of an album for Paul James which is due for release in October 2007.

Ken is an associate member of the Music Managers Forum.
